For my birthday I had a day trip to Melbourne, it was perfect timing as the Diana world tour exhibition had just arrived in town. The exhibition was held at the No Vacancy Gallery.
I was so in love with the customised clones of the Diana F+, but i was even more interested in the Detrich collection which was a history of all the different Diana cameras and clones.
I met Ian who was working there and had a lovely chat about my Diana mini (pictured above) and the exhibition and because it was my birthday he gave me three of the Diana camera chocolates, Lovely!
Since the exhibition i have developed my first roll of film from my Diana mini, these are my favourite shots from the roll.
I'm still learning so hopefully each roll of film will get better and better, fingers crossed.

When i last visited Melbourne i made sure a stopped off at Third Draw Down, where i found these condoms disguised as tiny works of art. They are a project started by Third Draw Down working with some fantastic artists, their aim is to change the way people percieve condom use and help promote safe sex practices. And the best part THEY'RE FREE!
Yes, another ebay purchase, however it was out of necessity. I have been looking around for the right iphone cover for a while and desperately needed decent headphones when i found these gems. The iphone case is made out of bamboo, while the headphones are encased in solid wood. I love the mix of natural materials and electronics.
I went a little nuts around my birthday and had a big spend up at Asos, but in my defense it was free international shipping. The above are my purchases i've never been so excited for the winter season.
I had a quick day trip to the big smoke (Melbourne) last Wednesday, while i was there i visited one of my favourite little shops on Gertrude st, Fitzroy, Little Salon. Last year for my 21st i bought myself the first heart badge, so this year i got the earings and the other badge to match. They are by Geneine Honey under the label love.
I love wearing my hearts and always get compliments on them.
I went for a wander down to Salt Marsh yesterday and found they stocked some of the Poppies for Grace range of stationary. I have been looking for some nice writing paper for a while now and when i saw this set i couldn't resist. I also picked up some "this book belongs to" stickers which will come in handy will all the new books i've been given lately.
I thought it was about time i shared my little retreat with the world.
It has everything i need; comfy couch, ottomans, a bar and quite a few extras. It's such a nice sunny room for relaxing in.
Every evening this week (since Monday after work) i've been having a "Birthday Week Cocktail". My most favourite is a Mojito, super refreshing from the lime and mint!
